Cluster Residential Child Care Worker

to work on a part-time, permanent basis.

The role offers you

stability with the additional benefit of varied work . It is ideally suited to someone who is flexible throughout the working week, nights and weekends, providing an opportunity to interact with different employees and children, within a cluster of homes.

You will work as a team, building long-lasting relationships with our children and young people. You will accompany our young people to and from school or college, facilitate family contact, create a warm and comforting environment, have fun, and go on days out as well as shopping, cooking, cleaning and encouraging participation in local activities and hobbies.

Previous experience in Residential Child Care is extremely beneficial; however, there are many transferable skills for this role. You need to have a

dedicated and resilient approach

as well as an extremely caring and nurturing nature.

team supports our employees to achieve the industry-recognised qualifications and training courses. This may include NVQ/SVQ Level 3, subject to funding. This qualification will enhance your career in Children's Residential Care, opening up future opportunities for advancement within the company.

Desirable Qualities include:

One year's experience in child care or youth settings An SCQF Level 7 or Level 3 Diploma relevant to Children and Young People's Residential workforce, or working towards. An interest in pursuing relevant Child Care qualifications, Familiar with the Codes of Practice set out by regulatory bodies, i.e. SSSC, An existing PVG / DBS certificate. About Pebbles

We have 21 years' experience in supporting some of the most vulnerable young people across the UK. We aim to nurture and develop, so that children and young people can flourish in our care.

Our teams are spread across 50 registered homes and 2 schools that continue to meet the needs of young people and provide supportive ways of developing and learning.

We also have excellent learning and development resources to ensure that all our staff have access to high-quality, up-to-date training and support.

Remuneration And Benefits

Your salary is £26,910.00 to £27,495.00 per annum, depending on experience.

Your contracted working hours will be 45 hours per week, working on average of three fifteen-hour shifts per week (this is dependent on the needs of the service).

As a cluster worker, your shift patterns may vary depending on the requirements of the home and the site you work at. Your shifts will be agreed in advance with your line Manager.
