We have an exciting new opportunity to join our world renowned client as a CMM Operative on a full time, permanent basis. This company offers a state of the art purpose built premises that provides a modern and clean working environment with progression opportunities in the future.
Duties within the role of CMM Operative are:
Responsible for measurement and analysis for all patterns and castings Responsible for one Faro scanning arm / one Hexagon scanning arm / one Hexagon co-ordinate measurement machine CMM accuracy checks Utilising general quality inspection techniques and manual measurement equipment (Vernier's, Micrometres, Gauges) to inspect a variety of parts ranging from small precision components through to large components Documenting quality issues and reporting Non conformances
We would expect the successful CMM Operative to demonstrate previous experience within a similar role in an engineering / manufacturing environment. This role would be ideal for someone who has worked as a Quality Inspector or with a Faro Scanning arm, one hexagon scanning arm or hexagon co-ordinate measurement machine within a castings or heavy engineering environment. An understanding of working with micrometres, Verniers and Gauges and calibration techniques would be ideal.
