Role Overview We are seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to join our client's dynamic team in Bristol. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) using PC-DMIS software and ensuring the accuracy and quality of components inspected. This role is crucial in maintaining the high standards expected in our UKAS-accredited environment.

Key Responsibilities CMM Programming & Operation:

Create and execute CMM programs using PC-DMIS software for precise measurement and inspection of complex components. Familiarity with Virtual-DMIS is also advantageous. Dimensional Inspections:

Perform meticulous inspections of high-precision components, ensuring they meet the strict standards of industries such as aerospace, medical, and oil & gas. Calibration & Compliance:

Maintain calibration and measurement processes in line with UKAS accreditation and specific customer requirements. Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance and engineering, to ensure product conformance and resolve any inspection discrepancies. Equipment Maintenance:

Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize CMM machines to guarantee reliable performance and measurement accuracy. Advanced Technologies:

Experience with Faro Arm and Laser Scanning technologies is highly desirable and will add value to this position.

Required Skills and Experience CMM Expertise:

Demonstrable experience in programming and operating CMMs using PC-DMIS software. Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and advanced dimensional inspection methodologies. Engineering Drawings:

Proficiency in interpreting and applying engineering blueprints and technical specifications. UKAS Standards:

Previous experience in a UKAS-accredited environment is highly beneficial. Industry Knowledge:

Familiarity with critical industries, including military, aerospace, oil & gas, rail, medical, and space sectors. Technology Proficiency:

Expertise in using Faro Arm and Laser Scanning technologies is a distinct advantage. Attention to Detail:
