CMM Programmer

Position: CMM Programmer/Operator (PC-Dmis/Hexagon) Salary: £17.50 per hour / Up to £35,000 per annum (DOE) Location: Lisburn Hours: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:45 PM (40 hours per week) Company Overview Established in 2018, this forward-thinking precision engineering company is based in a modern 6,000-8,000 sq. ft. facility. Equipped with advanced machinery-most less than six years old-the company supports a skilled team of 15 dedicated professionals. The Role As a CMM Programmer/Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring product quality and compliance with client specifications. Key responsibilities include: Programming & Operating: Utilize PC-Dmis software to program and operate Hexagon Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM). Precision Inspection: Conduct detailed inspections of components to verify dimensions and tolerances. Technical Collaboration: Work alongside engineers and production teams to maintain the highest standards of quality. Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D CAD models, applying GD&T principles. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will bring: Experience: Proven expertise in CMM programming and operation, preferably using PC-Dmis software. Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of GD&T and the ability to interpret complex technical drawings. Attention to Detail: Precision-focused with a commitment to upholding quality standards.
