CMM Programmer/Inspector - Precision Machining Business PC-DMIS Manchester Salary: £18-19/hr + benefits

THE BUSINESS My client is a well-established machining business with the capability to supply products to a wide range of customers in Oil & Gas, Aerospace, and Nuclear. They have developed a strong continuous improvement culture and are continuously investing in new equipment across all departments.

Recently, they have invested heavily in their machine shop and metrology room and are set for a record year. In addition, they are winning new contracts and are set to see an increase in volumes over the next 12 months.

With the acquisition of a new business, you will be programming a range of new parts onto the system. You will be responsible for inspection of all parts and components on a major work transfer project. You will be completing documentation on parts and components similar to FAIR or PPAP. You will be contributing to capability studies on products to be transferred to the new machine shop. You will conduct inspections of goods inward components and materials. You will be a confident and experienced CMM programmer. You will have calibration experience and knowledge of measurement techniques. THE PERSON

You will be able to work as part of a team with a focus on good communication. You will be a PC-DMIS Programmer, although candidates with experience programming other software such as MCOSMOS, Camio, Modus, etc. will be welcomed.
