About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and driven CNC Cell Leader with a proven track record in operating CNC Mill/Turn (Mazak Integrex) multi-axis machinery. As a working Cell Leader, you will take on a hands-on role in setting and running advanced multi-axis tools while leading and motivating a team of CNC machinists in a complex, precision-engineering environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in producing high-quality precision components to detailed specifications, within tight production schedules and tolerances. Key Responsibilities:

Setting, Operating, and Programming:

Use CNC mill/turn machining centres to manufacture fixtures and fittings, working in a high-compliance environment with tight tolerances. Material and Tooling Expertise:

Knowledge of speeds, feeds for various raw materials, control systems, programming, safety standards, and advanced tooling techniques. Programming and Controls:

Proficiency in FANUC/Mazatrol control languages and HyperMill programming. Lean Manufacturing:

Apply Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement (CI) strategies to enhance efficiency. Quality Control:

Conduct CMM inspections and utilize manual measuring tools to ensure product quality. Team Leadership:

Lead, motivate, and assess team performance, identifying training needs and fostering a productive work environment. Ideal Candidate Profile: Technical Expertise: Strong background in CNC machining with experience in multi-axis tools. Engineering qualifications (City and Guilds, HNC, or equivalent).

Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a dynamic environment.

Precision Engineering Focus: Enthusiasm for working with complex precision components made from challenging materials. Commitment to maintaining technical excellence while transitioning into or advancing within a leadership role.
