Hours : Monday - Friday, 37 hours (An element of flexibility as to when hours are worked)

We are now recruiting for a CNC Machine Operator to set and operate our CNC 5 Axis machine, producing parts correct to drawing. Responsibilities: Setting & Operating 5-axis CNC machines to produce high-precision components according to engineering specifications. Reading and interpreting technical drawings. Setting up tools, fixtures, and machine parameters for optimal performance. Monitoring and inspecting workpieces to ensure they meet stringent quality standards. Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting minor machine issues. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Minimum Requirements: A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience operating / setting 5-axis CNC machines. 5 years experience of actual machining. Preferred Qualifications: IT literacy (Windows 7, MS Office). Experience in operating a 5 Axis machine. A strong understanding of CNC programs. Knowledge of materials, tooling, and machining techniques. The ability to perform precision measurements using callipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Familiarity with Fanuc based controls; DMG Mori Celos, Mazak Mazatrol. Familiarity with Heidenhain controls (TNC640).
