Key Responsibilities: Program, set, and operate manual and CNC machine tools, including lathes and milling machines. Work with a range of materials, primarily stainless steel, to produce high-precision vacuum components. Ensure all products meet exacting quality standards. Maintain a strong focus on safety and take responsibility for your own health and safety. Requirements: Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled CNC Machinist with a time-served apprenticeship (HND qualification preferred). Skilled in operating manual and CNC lathes and mills (MAZAK Mazatrol experience is advantageous). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Strong organisational skills and excellent communication skills. Experience with CAD software, vacuum systems, TIG welding, or stress analysis (desirable).
