CNC Machinist
Location : Castle Donington
Up to £35,375 DOE
Will move to 2 shifts:
Monday to Thursday 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Friday 6:00 am to 1:00 pm
Monday to Thursday 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Orion Electrotech are working with an innovative company who are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join their team at Castle Donington. You will set up and operate multiple CNC machines, adhering to standard operating procedures to produce high-precision components for the aerospace sector.
Key Responsibilities as a CNC Machinist:
Set and operate multiple CNC machines according to standard operating instructions.
Ensure components meet drawing tolerances and specifications efficiently and accurately.
Maintain relevant productivity levels while adhering to Health & Safety regulations.
Use inspection equipment and methods to validate products.
Uphold good housekeeping practices in line with 5S standards.
Comply with company policies, including Health & Safety and Data Protection.
Experience as a CNC Machinist:
Proficient in setting and running
Mill Turn Lathes . Experience with
Mazak
and
Fanuc
operating systems. Background in manufacturing or precision engineering environments. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Confident in using inspection equipment and methods. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
