TEXO Recruitment are sourcing for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our client's team. Based in Cupar, Fife you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of production by setting up, programming and maintaining CNC machinery, as well as producing small, intricate parts to tight tolerances. This is a temporary to permanent role following a successful completion of the 3 months' probation period.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in CNC setting Proven experience as a CNC Turner, Setter and Programmer Expertise with CNC Turning Centres, particularly NLX (Apply online only) and NLX #removed# Experience in producing small, precision parts with tight tolerances Ability to programme and set up machines, with conversational programming knowledge Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately A commitment to producing high-quality work with minimal supervision
General Duties:
Set up, programme and operate CNC turning machines to produce precision components according to specifications Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and work orders to determine machining requirements and plan operations Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures and tooling for each machining job Monitor machine operations to ensure optimal performance, making necessary adjustments during the process Inspect finished components using precision measuring tools to ensure quality and accuracy Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery to ensure continuous, smooth operations
