after that. Job description - the role You will operate in a busy, world-class engineering and manufacturing environment and be responsible for delivering against weekly targets to meet customer requirements. Your role as a Machinist would be machining discs and drums using multiple machining

platforms to conforming standards, this could be roughing, intermediate or finishing operations. You will work with manufacturing programming engineers to implement continuous improvements within the machining programmes. The on-time delivery of components right first time quality is a key objective within the machining team play a pivotal part of

delivering this goal and delivering our commitments to customer on time. As a CNC Machinist you will be responsible for: Work to Client's Technical Instructions to deliver consistent, high quality inspection across a variety of different components and product families. Operate a variety of measuring equipment, including, Micrometres, plug gauges, and surface finish equipment. The interpretation of manufacturing drawings, customer drawings and written specifications and understanding programmes. The assessment of whether the quality of components produced within the facility meets the required standards. Work within a team to effectively to ensure we hit our customer commitments. What we require from the candidate: NVQ Level 3 or time served engineering apprenticeship, with previous experience relevant to the role you are applying for is essential. Clear and demonstrated understanding of drawing interpretation, calibration, Technical instruction and asset care Looking for candidates who are pro-active and patient individuals that are capable of managing their time effectively.
