12-month contract Salary: Competitive Location: Derby As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for: Operating a variety of inspection equipment, including machine probing, micrometers, and plug gauges. Working on various CNC machining platforms. Interpreting manufacturing drawings, customer drawings, and written specifications. Assessing the quality of components to ensure they meet specifications. Skills and Experience Required - CNC Machinist MUST HAVE completed an advanced modern engineering apprenticeship and an NVQ/SVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification. Siemens control system experience is preferred. Experience in 3 and 5-axis grinding, milling, and turning. Previous experience with aerospace components would be an advantage. All successful CNC Machinists will be contacted within 2 working days of application.
