A vacancy has arisen for a Machinist to join their team based in Livingston. This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate who would like to continue their career within an exciting and progressive manufacturing facility. Education Time served Machinist (Relevant apprenticeship (Must have trade papers) Knowledge & Experience Ideally, 2-3 years' experience in setting and operating machine shop equipment manual and CNC. Practical experience in the use of some of the following preferable: Vertical turret lathes as a minimum Manage of controls systems such as Fanuc Knowledge and application of safe working practices. Knowledge and experience in quality systems and procedures including SPC. Knowledge of reading and interpreting computer blueprints, sketches and process sheets is desirable, as well as using a variety of precision measuring instruments Knowledge of machine tool setting procedures and tape experience. Experience of working in a Machine Shop environment. Must have a high degree of numerical ability.
