CNC Miller , Gloucester, £32,000 to £39,000 depending on experience. Double day shifts, 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm with an early finish on Fridays. Excellent benefits.
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a manufacturing/engineering company based in Gloucester to join their machine shop on a permanent basis.
The successful CNC Miller will be required to:
Set and operate CNC milling machines, using Haas or Fanuc Controls
Machine high quality parts
Work from engineering drawings
Produce volume batch work
Quality check own work and record information
Work to targets
Utilize 4 and 5 axis machinery
Complete work sheets
Be responsible for Health and Safety whilst operating machinery
Work alone but also as a team to achieve productivity
In order to be considered for this role:
Experience of working as a CNC Milling Machinist
Some editing of programmes would be beneficial
Use of Haas and Fanuc
Experience in a target-driven production environment
Familiarity with working from engineering drawings
CMM experience
