CNC Machinist

Compass Point Recruitment is seeking a motivated and experienced CNC Machinist to manage the day-to-day operations of a machine shop for a specialist engineering company in the food manufacturing industry. Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and program multi-axis machining centers Perform complete multi-tool setups Conduct manual checks of components Ensure compliance with technical documentation Perform milling and turning work to a high standard Prioritize jobs based on business needs and delivery deadlines
Candidate Requirements: 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing/engineering setting as a CNC setter/operator/programmer Proficiency in Fanuc programming and general knowledge of G & M codes Ability to read technical drawings and deliver work to specifications Experience with lathe and milling machines
Experience with the following machines is highly desirable: HAAS VM3 HAAS ST35Y (with live tools and bar feeder) Colchester Harrison Tryax Mill XYZ Manual Mill
