The Landing Gear Market specializes in the design, qualification, manufacture and repair and overhaul of landing gears and flight critical components to a customer base that extends from the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to the Operators in both the commercial and military markets. Summary of position:

To set and operate a range of CNC controlled machinery within the company as required by specifications.

Salary: Starting rate from £14.99 to £18.89 as per level of experience + shift premium of 22% for 3 shifts availability + Overtime paid at x1.5 or x2 dependant on availability. CNC Machinist potential up to £20.71ph following internal training and experience. *These hourly rates are starting points, there is room to grow as per performance, technical ability, quality of work and acquired experience! Relocation Packages Available for the right candidates. Schedules & Easy Access:

Week starts on Sunday 22:10 and finishes on Friday 06.00 for night shift Week starts on Monday 05.55 and finishes on Friday 13.45 for morning shift Week starts on Monday 13.55 and finishes on Friday 21.30 for afternoon shift Easy access by A-38 & M-1 and a Railway station about 10mins from the unit Main responsibilities:

Setting and operating CNC machines including: DMG DMC 160U WFL 120 / WFL 65 MAZAK E500 MAZAK Integrex i-400 CINCINNATI FTV5 UNION TC110 TOS VARNSDORF WHN130MC MCM tank 1600 MP10 (10 pallets) Production of precision machined components and tooling items as required Checking the quality of components produced throughout the batch cycle Accurate recording of quantities and time allocation using company systems Carry out regular maintenance of the machines as per company schedules Qualifications:

The role will involve setting and operating a variety of CNC 3/4/5 axis Milling machines, dealing with Aluminium, Steel and Titanium components to tight tolerances. Must have good level of understanding in using either Fanuc / Heidenheim / Mazatrol / Siemens machine control systems; and also willing to develop further CNC machining skills and abilities. Carry out any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by Senior Management.
