CNC Machinist – 7x roles available (immediate starts) Location:

Newton Aycliffe, County Durham UK RESIDENTS MAY ONLY APPLY! Company Overview: Our client a leading manufacturing company specializing in carbon steel products. We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team on a permanent basis. Tool or mould makers with relevant experience will also be considered. Position Overview: As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting and operating vertical machine centres to produce high-quality components. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in CNC machining and will be required to pass practical and theoretical machining tests before employment. This role will involve working on a rotating shift pattern of mornings, afternoons, and nights. Key Responsibilities: • Working from engineering drawings. • Editing programs. • Setting/Operation of 3axis CNC milling machines. • Setting large fabrications. • Filling out route cards and SOP’s • Working a 3 shift rotation system. • Working a reasonable amount of overtime to suit the needs of the business. The successful applicant must possess the following skills: • Competent in the use of Haas, Fanuc or Heidenhain control systems. • Setting machine datums and tool lengths • Knowledge of basic inspection equipment. The following skills are desirable but not essential: • Fork Lift Truck licence. • First Aid Training. • Programming. Benefits: SHIFTS 37.5hrs/wk EARLY SHIFT Monday - Friday 6:00am – 2:00pm LATE SHIFT Monday - Friday 2:00pm – 10:00pm NIGHT SHIFT Monday - Friday 10:00pm - 6:00am PAY RATE: £16.25/hr £3.00/hr shift allowance applied to all 3 shifts. (For 3 shift rotation only) Attendance bonus £30.00/wk for each shift. Overtime paid at 1.5 x regular rate Monday – Saturday and 2 x regular rate Sunday Permanent role with opportunities for career advancement. Personal protective equipment provided by the company.
