for a well-established and reputable company based in Plymouth. Due to continued growth and investment, we are looking for an experienced

CNC Machinist (Miller)

for a permanent role offering a salary of £33,462 per annum. This will be working Monday to Friday 39 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 7am to 3:30pm and 7am to 2pm on a Friday). Responsibilities: Programming, setting, and operating a number of XYZ Prototrak and LPM CNC Machines on milling machines to manufacture low volume and one-off components in a variety of materials. Using inspection equipment to ensure that all sizes, geometric tolerances, and surface finish requirements are adhered to. Checking your own work and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety procedures. Requirements: Strong background in Engineering Manufacturing (essential). At least 5 years’ experience in a precision engineering environment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications. Experience of working to tight tolerances and good comprehension of geometric tolerances and symbols. Knowledge of grinding and turning (advantageous).
