At Dexory, autonomous robots are a critical part of our product offering. We design and build our robots in house and are building new purpose built spaces for assembly, testing and product demos. We have an exciting opportunity for a CNC Machinist to join our dedicated team in Wallingford. As a CNC Machinist you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating our machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. To be successful in this role you will: Safely and efficiently operate CNC machines to produce components as per engineering drawings. Doosan Vertical with Nikken 4th Axis mill with Fanuc control Doosan Lynx 2100 LSYA lathe with Fanuc control Work with engineering on new designs and give input for design for manufacture Choose appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, and fixtures for each job Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and report any issues to the maintenance department Troubleshoot and resolve technical and production issues during the machining process Ensure all safety guidelines and protocols maintain a safe working environment Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to achieve production goals Requirements: Experience with CNC milling and turning and CNC programming Knowledge of G-code and CAM software (we use Fusion 360, prior experience not essential) Knowledge of Solidworks would be advantageous but not essential Good communication, problem-solving and collaboration skills Why join Dexory?
