CNC Machinists

Nexus Resource Solutions are working in partnership with a well-established machine shop who have a very healthy order book. They provide services to the Energy, Oil and Gas, Renewables, Marine and MOD industries. We currently require an experienced CNC Turner who can operate conversational controls. The controls are XYZ so a mix from conventional and CNC. A Manual Turner could also be considered for this. We are also looking for a CNC Miller who can program with Fanuc. The successful candidate will be responsible for the manufacture of detailed components to customer s specification. Duties: Set and operate an XYZ Lathe safely and efficiently Experience with conversational controls would be advantageous CNC Miller will be programming using Fanuc Responsible for quality and full conformity to the drawings Read and interpret technical drawings, must be able to work to tight tolerances Experience: Proven experience of CNC or Manual machining CNC Miller will be able to program using Fanuc or one CNC Used to working to tight tolerances Remuneration: GBP18.69ph basic Overtime is x1.5 after 37hrs Double overtime on Sundays Around 300hrs of overtime available per year 33 days holiday Working Hours:

Mon Thurs (7.45am - 4.10pm) Fri (7.45am - 12.45pm)
