Our Client based in Keighley is looking for an experienced and skilled CNC Mill Turn Programmer/Setter/Operator to join their team. Working Hours

- 40 hrs per week, there is flexibility on start times Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 4.45pm Friday 8.00am - 3.30pm Pay Rate

- £18.00 per hour The successful candidate will be programming and setting Doosan Puma Mill/Turn lathes with a 2nd spindle and will be willing to operate other machines where required. Key Responsibilities: Programming the machines. Machine Setup and Tooling: Set up CNC machines, including loading materials, securing workpieces, and installing tooling and fixtures. Select appropriate cutting tools and make tool changes as necessary. Conduct tool offsets and work offsets to ensure accurate machining. Need experience of Fanuc turning centers. We have Doosan Puma 4100m & 2600SY II. CNC Operation: Program/Set & Operate CNC machines to produce parts with precision and accuracy. Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency. Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep machines in optimal condition. Quality Assurance: Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Conduct in-process checks and measurements to verify accuracy and quality. Identify and address any issues that may affect the quality of the product. Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including quality standards and production schedules. Qualifications: Evidence of successful completion of training in programming. Proficiency in CNC programming. Technical certification or diploma in machining or related field is preferred. Proven experience as a CNC Programmer, Setter, and Operator in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality parts. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Familiarity with Fanuc machine controls.
