An opportunity has arisen for a CNC Miller to join a well-known manufacturer of high-end products on a permanent basis. Along with a salary of up to £34,476 per annum, you will receive 30 days holiday including stats, early finish 12pm on Fridays, free onsite parking and ongoing training and development.
The company is a well-established manufacturer in the Halifax area and is looking for an experienced CNC Miller to join them due to continued growth.
The CNC Miller will be responsible for:
Setting and operating a number of multi-axis machining centres Programming from scratch and editing (Siemens and Haas controls) Working directly from engineering drawings Advising on possible means of process improvement within the machine shop and other areas of the company The CNC Miller will have:
IDEAL NOT ESSENTIAL: Formal qualifications within a relevant discipline, Mechanical Engineering/Machining (Apprenticeship, NVQ, BTEC, City & Guilds Level 3 etc.) Worked as a CNC Miller, Machinist Engineer, or Technician previously within a precision engineering or machine shop environment The ability to independently program using ISO or conversational controls What is offered to the CNC Miller:
