Job Description: Styles Precision Ltd, based in Hartlebury, Worcestershire require an experienced CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our growing and innovative family business. We specialise in high quality CNC Precision Machining. Our plant includes 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC Milling Machines, as well CNC Lathes and EDM Wiring capability. Our customers include Pharmaceutical, Renewable, Engine Test, Packaging, and Security Industries. Top quality parts go hand-in-hand with a top-quality service, which is why we have customers continuing to use our services after 20 years of trading. The candidate will be working closely with other members of our busy Production Team, responsible for producing parts to customer drawings, will have a proven track record in sub-contract machining and have worked in a production engineering environment, be capable and competent in using Heidenhain Control and understanding of offline CAD/CAM Software. The ideal applicant will be proficient in programming, setting, and operating CNC Milling Machines, preferably with production experience. Flexibility and a “can do” approach in programming, setting, and operating all these machines when necessary is also key, in covering holidays, sickness and potential extended hours to suit business needs. Technical knowledge and approach to tooling and machining varied materials will also be required. Identifying and implementing continuous process improvements which will increase efficiency and output is also what we are looking for to drive the company forward. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

To program, set, and operate CNC Milling Machines to produce component parts to drawing and process requirements. The CNC Miller will assist in the manufacturing of parts through the production process, ensuring planned times for setting and manufacturing are met or improved, and high-quality parts produced within required performance, cost, and delivery targets. Setting and Operating 3, 4 and 5 Axis CNC Milling Machines using Heidenhain Controls. Programming from print drawings. Ability to work to exacting standards on tight tolerances. Adhering to quality standards and checking work using a variety of different instruments. Mainly small batch work using a variety of varied materials. You may be required to work alternative shifts / hours. You may be required to perform any other reasonable duties/specific projects from time to time and as directed by management. Key Competencies and Experience:

Experience using CNC Machines with Heidenhain controls. Good working knowledge of component dimensions using various inspection equipment - including but not limited to Micrometers, Verniers and Plug Gauges. Good working knowledge of manufacturing techniques and Engineering drawings is essential. Ability to produce components to drawing tolerance and specifications, efficiently and accurately as required by internal and external customer specifications.
