Due to expansion, My Client in Reading is looking for a CNC Programmer.
We are looking for experienced Machining Engineers to support our expanding operation by programming, setting, and operating both Vertical Machining Centres and Multi-axis Machining Centres. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in CAD & CAM, preferably with experience in Camworks or Edgecam. Alternatively, experience with Matrix Mazitrol for programming, setting, and operating the Mazak Integrex machine tool range is also highly desirable.

Responsibilities:
Programming:
Create and optimize CNC programs using CAD & CAM software, preferably Camworks or Edgecam, or Matrix Mazitrol for the Mazak Integrex machine tool range. Setting and Operating:
Set up and operate Vertical Machining Centres and Multi-axis Machining Centres to produce precision components. Quality Assurance:
Ensure all machined components meet strict quality standards and specifications. Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machining equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaboration:
Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and optimize machining processes. Continuous Improvement:
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machining efficiency and productivity. Person and Requirements:
Experience:
Proven experience in programming, setting, and operating Vertical Machining Centres and Multi-axis Machining Centres. Technical Skills:
Proficiency in CAD & CAM software, preferably Camworks or Edgecam. Alternatively, experience with Matrix Mazitrol for the Mazak Integrex machine tool range. Attention to Detail:
