Overtime is paid at 1.5 x total rate on both basic + bonus
Key Responsibilities
* Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components.
* Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure production accuracy.
* Perform quality checks on machined parts using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
* Optimize machining processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
* Maintain and service CNC machines, ensuring minimal downtime.
* Work collaboratively with the production team to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications and Experience
* Proven experience as a CNC Miller in a precision engineering environment.
* Proficient in programming CNC machines
* Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Relevant qualifications, e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent
