Aintree, Liverpool Salary:
£16.63-£17.77/hour (approx. £34k-£36k per year) Potential Earnings with Overtime:
£45k-£48k Hours:
39 hours/week + overtime (subject to availability) Shift:
Monday-Thursday 7:30-16:30, Friday 7:30-12:30 About the Role Total Staff is recruiting on behalf of a reputable engineering company for an experienced CNC Miller to join their CNC Milling Cell. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled programmer, setter, and operator to work on a variety of one-off and small batch precision components using advanced CNC Vertical and Horizontal Machining Centres (VMC & HMC) with 4th Axis and Renishaw probing systems. The role involves: Programming, setting, and operating CNC machines (Fanuc Controls). Working from engineering drawings to produce high-precision components. Machining a variety of materials, including steel, stainless steel, and exotic metals (e.g., Duplex, Monel). Offline programming using One CNC - XR8 3D milling software or on-machine programming. Requirements Essential: Time-served (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent). Experience programming, setting, and operating VMCs with Fanuc Controls. Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings. Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Systems. Previous experience machining exotic metals. Strong planning, organizing, and communication skills. Desirable (but not essential): Experience with Doosan VMCs and Kafo H630 HMCs. Knowledge of Manual Guide and One CNC Programming. Background in valve and pump components or the oil, gas, and power generation sectors.
