My client in Essex is looking for a CNC Miller due to expansion.
My client is a well-established manufacturer of high precision mechanical components and electromechanical assemblies for various industries including, but not limited to, Motorsport, Rail, Scientific and Medical.
Due to recent investment in new machinery and an influx of new orders, we are looking for a CNC Miller programmer/setter to join our fast-paced manufacturing team.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Using various measuring equipment (Verniers / Micrometers / Height gauge / Shadowgraph etc.) to ensure all parts conform to customer standards. Programming and setting Lathes from drawing or CAD files in the most efficient manner while ensuring all customer requirements are met. Reviewing older production parts to ensure they are being machined in the most efficient manner. Maintaining general cleanliness and housekeeping standards. Ensuring all work is completed in line with the production plan. Minimum Requirements:
3 years minimum CNC experience. 5 Axis Machinery experience. The ability to carry out first off, self-inspection and final inspection. Experience machining a wide range of materials. The ability to work and communicate within a team. Extensive knowledge of Fanuc programming including live tooling. Desirable Skills:
Aerospace background. Apprentice trained. Location: Chelmsford Salary: £38k
