My client in St Ives is currently in need of a CNC Miller due to business expansion.
Job Description CNC Miller required by a long-established engineering company in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.
The company manufactures components in almost any material, ranging from the design-prototype stage right through to production. Parts are made for customers in numerous industries. The company's focus is on small batch and prototype machining.
In this role, you will be tasked with setting and operating CNC machines to produce a range of high precision components. This will involve setting up new products on machines, maintaining tooling equipment, and ensuring that deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities Program, set, and operate the CNC Mills to which you are assigned. Run production jobs on the CNC machines and carry out all inspection duties required to ensure that parts are manufactured correctly, to the drawing, and meet tight deadlines.
Ideally, you will: Have experience of programming Heidenhain machines. Have experience with Mastercam software. Be keen to contribute to the expansion and development of the machine shop. Have good communication skills with strong personal motivation and commitment to make things happen and be used to working to tight production deadlines. Be able to work as part of a small team.
