CNC/Manual Miller position Location:
Based close to Thetford, Norfolk Working hours:
Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm and Friday 8am – 1pm Capacity of role:
Permanent position Salary:
Between £15.00 - £17.50 per hour
Our client is currently recruiting for a CNC Miller/Manual Miller to join their machine shop. Candidates will need to ideally be a time served toolmaker.
Main duties will include:
Setting up, operating and programming CNC milling machines Maintaining the machinery and reporting any defects to management Adhering to safety and quality regulations Reviewing and interpreting engineering schematics and technical drawings
Candidate attributes: Previous toolmaking experience – ideally working on Hurco or ProtoTrak machinery Ability to read technical drawings Programming, setting and operating CNC machinery Driving licence is necessary due to the location of the business
Skills Required: CNC Manual Milling Miller CNC Miller Engineering Manufacturing Hurco ProtoTrak Reading technical drawings Own transport
