We are looking for qualified/skilled/experienced personnel for the following positions:
CNC Programmers, Setters/Ops:
Working on CNC Machines with Fanuc Controls to machine, turn, bore components from engineering drawings. Checking dimensions for QC Specs. Manual Machinists:
Setting and operating boring, milling, turning using manual mills and lathes to machine components. Ideally able to set and operate CNC Machines. Welder Fabricators:
Measuring & marking out heavy Steel Plate & Structural Steel. Working from engineering drawings. Using gas cutting, plasma equipment, plus saws etc. to cut plate & channel, steel work. Drilling of bolt holes, notches, cleats etc. Fabrication from drawings of heavy steel & plate for specialised steel structures. Setting up for welding. Tacking steel and plate in position. Welding heavy plate & steel work to coded specs mainly MIG Solid Wire. Qualifications:
C & G - NVQ 3 in Sheet Metal Work, Plating, or Welding. Hours of Work:
0700 to 1530 Mon to Fri plus O/T & 0700 to 1230 Sat plus Sun if required. Working in the Fab Shops & Sites, ideally living within a 20-mile radius. There will also be a strong likelihood of working extra O/T where required. Term of Work:
8 to 13 weeks, possibly long term subject to workload. Pay Rates:
Depending on Skills & Qualifications and Area from: GBP 17.50+ per hour for Platers & Fabricators depending on skills and shift. GBP 18.50+ for Coded Welders depending on skills and shift.
