They are looking for a highly skilled, competent engineer with the ability to set, operate, and program 3, 4, and 5-axis machinery to join our experienced team and strengthen our NPI capabilities. The CNC Programmer would ideal have experience in: Setting, operating, and programming CNC milling machines, including 3, 4, and 5 Axis Engineering qualification from City and Guilds / HNC or similar Speeds and feeds for different raw materials; controls; programming; safety and tooling FANUC / Mazatrol control language (preferable) Lean Manufacturing CMM inspection and measuring (advantageous) The CNC Programmer will have the ability: Programme, ideally using HyperMill Operate CNC milling machinery, fixtures, and fittings, preferably in a highly compliant environment working to tight tolerances Use manual measuring equipment and competently read manufacturing drawings Operate Mazak 5 Axis milling machinery (advantageous) Benefits: 38 hours per week 4 Days per Week Monday to Thursday 14:00 - 00:00 25% Shift Allowance 5% pension contribution Time off to attend medical appointments Enhanced sick pay privileges Long service awards 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
