Permanent, Full-time About the Company: Entrance Composite Door Solutions is a part of the AMK Group, a leading distributor of door and window hardware to the UPVC and timber industry with operations in both the UK and Ireland. Entrance Composite Door Solutions, the composite door division, is a thriving part of the business and is experiencing significant growth. The CNC Operator / Machinist role: The basic duties will be setting up and operating a CNC router, maintaining quality and safety standards, maintaining equipment and supplies, and keeping records. Reporting directly to the CNC Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring production and quality targets are met. The ideal CNC Operator / Machinist must show previous performance and skills in the following areas: Beam saw experience is extremely advantageous. A CNC machine operating background is essential. 3 & 5 Axis CNC operation. Experience on an SCM router is essential. Experience working on a Biesse would be advantageous. Knowledge of programming, Xilog is also beneficial. Ability to work on own initiative. Flexible approach to work. Achievement of quality standards. Achievement of performance targets. Ability to follow instructions. Experience in woodworking is advantageous but not essential. Excellent attitude and enthusiasm.
