Due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit a CNC Programmer to be a key member of the team. Applicants should come from an Engineering background, with previous experience in CNC Programming and Setting. Key Responsibilities

Reading and interpreting technical and design drawings. Read and alter CAD files. Use computer software to create cutting paths that best utilize machine group. Import all dstv main members and fittings into various software packages. Ensure where required dstv files are altered and compatible with each machine type. Save altered dstv files and export into folders for CNC operator. Route materials to machine groups that can best create parts in nested bar. Allocation and nesting of materials where required through stock control software. Mark up fabrication drawings where required to advise fabrication workshop where machine capabilities cannot cover. Ensure machine operators are not having to programme at machine level. Liaise with drawing office for any alterations or changes required for dstv files or drawings. Liaise with IT team and software specialists for future development required that can help ease production flow. Execute workload to Production Plan. Communication of Project Progress. Holiday cover for other roles. Candidates must have the ability to achieve objectives whilst developing their skills and building strong working relationships.
