We are working with a well-established family-run manufacturing business based in Doncaster, who are looking to recruit a CNC Router for their materials prep team. We welcome applications from candidates who are CNC Routers, with a CNC, woodworking, and wood shaping background within a manufacturing environment. The role requires experience with CNC Routers. Duties of the CNC Router: Cut material on the CNC router machine in line with build schedule requirements. Cut softwood kits in the saw area in line with build schedule requirements. Manufacture “in-house” parts in line with build schedule requirements. Work only to works orders/panel request forms. Produce parts to the correct specification in line with technical drawings and works orders. Report drawing and quality issues to the supervisor and technical office. Report nesting errors to the supervisor and technical office. Complete re-work if required. Ensure completed parts are stored correctly. Ensure completed works orders are checked and passed to stores. Monitor “RAW” stock levels and re-order as required. Train in all areas of the department to increase skillset. Responsible for the completion of all relevant paperwork. What we need from you for the CNC Router role: Correctly use tools and equipment. Have good communication skills. Have good personnel skills. Have the ability to handle pressure and meet targets/deadlines. Needs to be flexible. Have a thorough understanding and knowledge of practices and terminology of the timber area and machinery.
