As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented CNC Setter to help us craft the high-quality components that power groundbreaking research across the globe. As our CNC Setter, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC Mills to produce precise parts that meet detailed specifications. This is a key role in our production process, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Key Responsibilities of the CNC Setter: Set and run both proven and unproven programs, adjusting tool coordinates and resolving any errors. Set tools and produce 'First Off' parts to the highest quality standards. Operate across multiple machines when necessary, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime. Maintain CNC equipment through preventative maintenance. Participate in training programs to enhance your skills and efficiency. Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines without compromising on quality. What You’ll Need to Succeed Proven experience working with CNC Machines. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Strong knowledge of ISO and conversational machine programs. Experience with machine controls such as FANUC, Heidenhain, and Siemens. In-depth understanding of how materials and tools behave during machining processes. Ability to anticipate and troubleshoot potential issues before they escalate. Deadline-driven, with an uncompromising focus on quality. Experience in machining chambers and fabricated items is highly desirable. Familiarity with the concept of On-Time Delivery, both internally and externally. It’s a Bonus If You Have IT proficiency (Windows 7, MS Office). Experience in offline programming (AlphaCAM preferred, with training available). Familiarity with electronic inspection using Faro Arm.
