CNC Setter Operator

Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Setter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in setting and operating CNC machines using Fanuc controls, with prior experience working with Doosan, Mori Seiki and Hardinge lathes being beneficial. Knowledge of programming would be a significant advantage for this role. Responsibilities Set up CNC machines with Fanuc controls according to technical specifications. Operate CNC machines to produce high-quality parts. Adjust machine settings to ensure precise and efficient production. Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machine operations. Collaborate with the production team to meet manufacturing objectives. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications Proven experience as a CNC Setter. Proficiency in setting and operating CNC machines with Fanuc controls. Familiarity with Doosan, Mori Seiki, and Hardinge lathes is advantageous. Ability to program CNC machines is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment. Day-to-day As a CNC Setter, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, ensuring the production of high-quality parts, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. You will work collaboratively with the production team and maintain a clean and organized work area. Rate and hours Hourly rate: Competitive and based on experience. Hours: Full-time, with potential for overtime and weekend work during busy periods.
