We have an immediate requirement for a CNC Turner, Machine Setter/Operator with a strong background in component / Mechanical manufacturing.

Duties will include:
Setting up and ensuring the relevant program is ready to run on either a CNC lathe or VMC CNC Turning Operating both Lathes and Milling Machines Running machines concurrently Ensuring components are produced to specified tolerances from technical drawings Inspecting components using various measuring equipment such as verniers, thread gauges, callipers, micrometres, etc. Deburring components across a range of materials Reporting any anomalies to the Machine Shop Manager Working with the Quality Inspection Department during component manufacture Maintaining a clean and tidy environment and adhering to company standards Carrying out a weekly clean of your assigned CNC machines Benefits include:

You will have experience working within a component manufacturing environment, ideally with some machine setting and operating knowledge, and an engineering qualification. Knowledge of Fanuc or Mazatrol controls would be beneficial. Minimum Requirements:
HNC/HND/NVQ in mechanical engineering Setting and Operating Milling and Turning Machines Fanuc and Mazatrol controls Ability to read engineering drawings Knowledge of Verniers, thread gauges, callipers, micrometres, etc. Experience in Deburring Quality control and Inspection knowledge This is an excellent opportunity to join an established organisation that offers training and additional development opportunities.
