CNC Setter Operator

Overview We are seeking a skilled 5 Axis Setter/Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in setting and operating 5 axis milling machines, with the ability to set and run multiple different machines including DMG Mori, Hermle, and others. Responsibilities Set up and operate 5 axis milling machines to produce high-quality parts. Interpret engineering drawings to determine the most efficient setup and operation of machines. Use precision measuring instruments to inspect parts and ensure they meet quality standards. Troubleshoot and make necessary adjustments to ensure the machines are running at optimal levels. Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to continuously improve processes and procedures. Qualifications Proven experience as a 5 Axis Setter/Operator in a manufacturing environment. Ability to set and operate multiple different machines, including DMG Mori, Hermle, and others. Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Day-to-day Setting up and operating 5 axis milling machines. Inspecting parts using precision measuring instruments. Collaborating with the engineering and production teams to optimize processes.
