A market-leading manufacturing company is seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join their team. This role involves setting, and operating 5-axis Mazak CNC milling machines to produce a variety of metallic components for industries including aerospace, automotive, and motorsport. The company offers a flexible working week, compressed into four days with overtime available if desired.

In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts. This includes setting up and operating Mazak 5-axis milling machines, ensuring that all components are manufactured according to production schedules and in compliance with quality standards. The role also involves adjusting machine settings as needed to achieve the correct specifications, as well as performing inspections during the manufacturing process to ensure product quality is maintained.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CNC milling, with proven expertise in setting and operating CNC machines. Experience with Mazatrol and Hypermill programming would be advantageous, although not essential. A strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings is required, as is the capacity to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with industries such as aerospace or automotive is beneficial, but not essential.

Candidates should be committed to continuous improvement and capable of adhering to ISO 9001 quality standards. The role also involves contributing to ongoing improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process. Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a focus on high production standards and efficiency are essential. All employees are expected to follow the company's Health and Safety Policy and comply with relevant health and safety legislation.
