will involve setting and operating various CNC torsion spring making machines (section circa 12 machines), to ensure products are manufactured to the highest quality and to required deadlines. Suitable candidate for the role of

should possess a background in automotive manufacturing and must have extensive experience of setting and operating various CNC torsion spring making machines. The position of
CNC Torsion Setter Operator
is offered as a Permanent contract on
Late Shift , with competitive rates of pay plus shift allowance, Pension and immediate start available. Duties and Responsibilities of
CNC Torsion Setter Operator : Set and operate various CNC torsion spring making machines including
Wafios FMU1 and FMU2, Itaya MX30/MX40 and Itaya MCS15E/MCS15G Observe machine operation to verify accuracy of machine settings and to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, using precision measuring instruments Adjust machine control, including part process Verify first piece inspection using appropriate measuring instruments Generally, monitor the work being undertaken and completed, testing and taking agreed critical measurements to identify problems and the need for adjustment and to immediately make any adjustments as necessary Undertake agreed CNC inspection Maintain accurate data/records/documentation associated with your work Carry out tasks within allotted time limits Ensure compliance with quality standards, policies and procedures, codes and legislation including health and safety Immediately report problems/failures that may impact on the organisation and/or its clients/customers to Line Manager Contribute towards the smooth running of the team Responsibly use resources and control expenses to meet agreed budgetary controls Adhere to all organisation policies and procedures Skills and attributes required by
CNC Torsion Setter Operator : Extensive experience of setting and operating various CNC torsion spring making machines including Wafios FMU1 and FMU2, Itaya MX30/MX40 and Itaya MCS15E/MCS15G Capable of working on own initiative and running a section of up to 12 machines Experience of setting and running stainless steel and carbon wire up to 4mm diameter Must be fully experienced and conversant with High Volume Automotive Production and Quality Standards Ability to read technical drawings Reliable, dedicated with high attention to detail Location: Redditch, Worcestershire Hours of Work: Mon to Thurs 2 pm 10 pm, Fri 1 pm 8 pm (39 hours) Salary: GBP43,805.00 p.a.
