late shift premium: time + one-third

A long-established and highly respected local manufacturer is on the lookout for an
experienced CNC Turner
to join their team. With a reputation for excellence in aerospace, oil & gas, and defense industries, this company offers a chance to work with cutting-edge projects and grow your skills.
What We Need From You: Proven experience programming, setting, and operating 2-axis turning machines. The ability to write CNC programs longhand (because shortcuts are for amateurs). Familiarity with 'Manual Guide i' software and G-codes. Experience with in-process inspections and a range of hard/soft metals. A knack for interpreting complex engineering drawings and meeting tight tolerances. Fanuc control experience? Even better! Confidence working with large parts (hoist training covered).

Mon-Thu 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-2:30pm. Late Shift:
Mon-Wed 4:30pm-3:30am, Thu 4:30pm-1:30am. 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) + extra time off over Christmas shutdown. Government pension scheme. Health care benefits. Free on-site parking.
