Frontline Recruitment Weymouth is seeking a skilled CNC Turner Machinist to join our esteemed client in Weymouth.
Responsibilities include:
Setting up and operating CNC lathes, including those with live tooling capabilities. Conducting self-inspections using tools like verniers, micrometers, SPGs, and PPGs. Performing in-process inspections to maintain total process control. Producing components from engineering drawings, meeting precise quality standards. Accurately recording and updating manufacturing process details on job cards. Adhering to preventative maintenance schedules for machinery. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Skills and experience required:
A Level 3 engineering qualification or equivalent (including indentures). Familiarity with Fanuc control systems. Preferred experience in the aerospace industry. Competence in interpreting engineering drawings and following work instructions (e.g., job cards). Proficiency in setting up and operating various machine tools. Basic computer literacy.
