CNC Turner
Location: Near Woking, Surrey
Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 plus manufacturing bonus
Our client is looking for a skilled CNC Turner to join their Machine Shop team based at their manufacturing base near Woking, Surrey. This position involves working within a modern and state-of-the-art machine shop using Mazak, Siemens, and Fanuc controls. Our client offers a competitive salary plus manufacturing bonus, overtime, and various benefits. The basic salary ranges from £35,000 to £45,000; hourly rate is £17.00 to £22.50.
CNC Turner Responsibilities:
The role requires programming, setting, and machining parts to a high standard.
Ensuring reliable, efficient processes are planned for the manufacture of new parts, particularly for New Product Introduction.
Working on a variety of different metal components and materials including aluminium, stainless steel, and brass.
When working in the Turning section, you will operate several sliding head lathes.
Ensuring that all production targets are met.
CNC Turner Requirements:
You will be confident in using Siemens or Fanuc controls and will be able to program, set, and operate these machines. Training can be provided.
Ideally, your recent experience will involve using sliding head lathes.
You are able to read and interpret engineering drawings, enabling efficient programming, setting, and manufacturing, to achieve a ‘right first time’ product.
Some programming experience with ISO controls would be an advantage, but training will be given to the right candidate.
Strong problem-solving skills with good practical application.
Highly motivated to improve productivity without compromising quality.
