* Days: Monday - Thursday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Friday 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM
* Nights: Monday - Thursday 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Friday 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Are you an experienced CNC Setter Operator with expertise in HAAS CNC turning machines?
My client is looking for a skilled CNC Setter Operator to produce high-quality components for a range of industries. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for precision engineering and a strong background in operating and setting HAAS CNC turning machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
Setting and operating HAAS CNC turning machines to manufacture components to precise specifications. Reading and interpreting technical drawings to ensure accuracy in machining. Conducting quality checks using tools like micrometres, calipers, and gauges. Adjusting tooling and machine settings as required for optimal production. Performing routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure peak performance. Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Proven experience as a CNC Setter Operator, ideally with HAAS CNC turning machinery. Strong understanding of CNC programming (G-code knowledge is a bonus). Skilled in quality control and precision measurements. Able to collaborate effectively to meet production targets. Confident in troubleshooting and problem-solving on the job.
