Your new role
You will prepare and operate CNC Waterjet machines to perform cutting operations. Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and specifications to understand the tasks at hand. Translate instructions into computer commands for the machine. Load raw materials and parts onto the machine. Conduct test runs to ensure the machine produces outputs according to specifications. Monitor the machine during operations and make necessary adjustments to improve output quality. Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the machine. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to resolve any machining or quality issues.
Working Hours
Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm. Some flex available.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will have 1-2 years of experience operating CNC waterjet machines. Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical documents and drawings. Basic computer skills and basic understanding of computer programming and CAD. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
