CNO Project Support Officer Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

·
Full time
Location: Winchester

Job offered by: Blue Sky Marketing

This role is only open to applicants that currently work within an NHS Trust within the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care System (HIOW ICS).

The role of the project support officer is to support the Associate Director and wider CNO Team with urgent and ongoing projects and related work. The post holder will play a central role in supporting the CNO in project and daily working delivery, often working to tight deadlines.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team which leads, designs and supports services to deliver nursing and Allied Healthcare Professional excellence, bringing meaningful change within Hampshire Hospitals and across our Integrated Care Partnership. As part of the CNO, the postholder will also work with colleagues in partner organisations, contributing to the implementation of a system of quality improvement in patient care.

As a project support officer, the role will be varied and the post holder will be expected to develop in-depth specialist knowledge of the team/service/project being worked on and the ability to provide detailed advice and information to whomever requests it. Each project is different and therefore duties will change accordingly. However, for the most part, the role is responsible for monitoring of project related information, data collection such as excel spreadsheets, monitoring of risks and issues and liaising with key stakeholders from different organisations across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight to ensure the smooth running of assigned projects and regular work. The role also requires the maintenance and administration of the Trust’s Audit system, Safeguarding allegations and the Ward Accreditation process.

Our vision is to provide outstanding care for every patient. Patient care is at the heart of what we do at our three sites: Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital, Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester and Andover War Memorial Hospital. Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides medical and surgical services to a population of approximately 600,000 people across Hampshire and parts of West Berkshire.

Our cultural ambition is to have a culture that places people at the heart of all we do, where we all belong, and where learning, improvement and excellence thrive.

We provide specialist services to people across the UK and internationally. We are one of only two centres in the UK treating pseudomyxoma peritonei (a rare form of abdominal cancer) and we are leaders in the field of tertiary liver cancer and colorectal cancer.

The trust employs more than 9,000 staff and has a turnover of over £500 million a year. As a Foundation Trust, we are directly accountable to our members through the governors. The Council of Governors represent the interests of their constituencies and influence the future plans of the Foundation Trust.

Tackling Climate Change: Hampshire Hospitals aims to embed sustainability and net zero carbon principles into the delivery of care across all its services. To find out more, search HHFT Climate Action.
