Collections & Recoveries Manager

to be part of this amazing fast-growing Fintech. At Clip, He/She will lead the design and implementation of innovative debt collection solutions for our lending products. This role will involve collaborating closely with the core lending, product and tech teams, business stakeholders, and users to create effective overdue collections products, including but not limited to refinancing and debt consolidation. The ideal candidate will drive the strategy and vision for these products to enhance our customer experience and improve recovery rates. What will I be doing? Develop and execute the vision and strategy for debt collection and recovery initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and operations, to prioritize and implement enhancements and features. Lead the development and refinement of debt consolidation and refinancing solutions, from ideation to launch. Gather and analyze business requirements and customer feedback to guide improvements and innovation. Monitor performance metrics and derive insights to optimize processes and offerings. Provide training and support to internal stakeholders and users on new tools and functionalities. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities within the debt collection space. Create and maintain a comprehensive roadmap that aligns with organizational objectives. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in all debt collection and recovery processes. Serve as the subject matter expert on debt collection and recovery, offering guidance and support across teams. Ideal Candidate Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. 5-7 years of management experience in developing solutions, specifically in the financial services or fintech sector. Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic management, with a proven track record in debt collection or recovery initiatives. Experience in both strategic and operational roles, with a complete understanding of product life cycles, especially within the context of lending and debt recovery. You live in Brazil, Mexico or Argentina. Technical: Strong understanding of debt collection processes and techniques. Familiarity with financial products, particularly closed-end lending. Proficient in Agile methodology and project management principles. Experience with product life cycle management and usability testing. Knowledge of cloud technologies and digital transformation trends in fintech. Data analytics skills to assess product performance and customer behaviors. Strong communication skills to interact efficiently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
