About the role As a College Counsellor, you’ll play a crucial role in providing confidential counselling services to our students and apprentices. Your expertise will help students overcome challenges, both academic and personal, and reach their full potential. You’ll be a trusted resource for mental health and emotional well-being. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Individual Counselling:

Provide one-on-one counselling sessions to students, addressing academic, social, and emotional concerns. Support Services:

Assist students in overcoming obstacles that may impact their learning experience. Crisis Intervention:

Respond to urgent situations and provide immediate support. Referrals:

Collaborate with other support services and external agencies to ensure comprehensive care. Well-Being Promotion:

Organize workshops, events, and awareness campaigns related to mental health and well-being. Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in counselling, psychology, or a related field. Previous experience in counselling or mental health support. A genuine concern for students’ well-being and the ability to build trust. Clear communication and active listening.
