Combustion & Gas Engineer

Combustion & Gas Engineer focuses on carry out planned preventative maintenance (ppm), servicing, and fault diagnosis on domestic and light commercial gas and heating systems.

What the role involves

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), servicing, and fault diagnosis on domestic and light commercial gas and heating systems.
• Repair faults on boilers and associated systems, including valves, controls, and pipework.
• Complete minor installation and remedial works while identifying and reporting further required repairs.
• Respond promptly to reactive maintenance tasks and helpdesk requests across multiple sites.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation using logbooks and CAFM systems.
• Ensure all works are completed in line with gas safety regulations and Health & Safety standards.

Skills and requirements

• · Experience servicing and maintaining domestic and/or light commercial boilers.
• · Experience within a facilities management or commercial environment.
