Manage the life cycle of rebates/commercial agreements from communication to rebate set up, accruals, journals, reviewing contracts, invoicing/claims, and partnering with regions to review rebates for accuracy while ensuring that a sufficient audit trail is recorded. Understand and uphold policy and controls, taking corrective action/escalating exceptions appropriately. Work on ad-hoc requests and reporting. Hold monthly meetings with the sales department/regions to review rebates/spend. Handle complicated reporting to calculate accruals. Manage high volume adjustments accurately at month-end. Learn, understand, and ensure processes are completed per a monthly calendar (meetings, reporting, month-end close). Build relationships with sales teams in a short amount of time, conducting frequent meetings and ensuring these meetings occur as required with a stretched sales force. Profile
Advanced Excel skills. Qualified Accountant. History of supporting businesses through similar challenges. Knowledge of Oracle and rebates is highly desirable. Month-end experience is a must. Understanding of accrual accounting and UK GAAP. Job Offer
